A Brief Look in Singapore Botanic Gardens

The weather has been very cloudy for the past days with spots of rain every now and then. What does overcast days mean for photographers? A great time for macro photo shoot! A good location is the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

I have not been there for more than 5 years. Mine bad. So many things to see back home when it just need a wee bit more effort. So during lunch time today, I take a short walk at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Only have about 30 minutes before time is up. I will come back at a later date for more pictures.

The National Parks Board has a number of events at the Singapore Botanic Gardens in conjunction with Parks Fest 2011 as mentioned in an earlier posting : Getting Close to Nature : Parks Festival 2011

Nassim Gate Visitor Centre. 9am – 6pm. Free Admission.
Please note entrance fees to National Orchid Garden Tour still apply.

Medicinal Plant Tour (English Version) – Singapore Botanic Gardens, Botany Centre
9am – 6pm. Free Admission.

So if you have time during the weekends, drop by for a visit.

How to Get There

By MRT : Stop at Orchard MRT. Head to the direction of Marks of Spencer at Wheelock Place from Basement 2, ION Orchard. Exit and walk towards Nassim Road
