Golden Sunrise

17 Sep

A beautiful golden sunrise this morning. This is the view opposite Serangoon Reservoir East Dam, past Lorong Halus Wetland. Picture was taken around 6.50am.

How to tell if it is going to be a golden or red sunrise? Watch out for the white streaks in the sky during dawn. I left the house around 6.20 or 6.30am in the morning. By the time I reached Lorong Halus Wetland, streaks of yellow and white brightened the horizon.

Did not linger this time. Just cycled through the gravel road onwards to the dam. Oh, if you haven’t been here during the early hours – watch out for sandflies. Cover your eyes with sunglasses and don’t talk while walking or cycling :p It is still dark – you can’t really see them until you feel them in your face.

On a saturday, only saw one guy photographing the sunrise today. It is more crowded on a sunday.

Happy weekend, everybody!
