Curious little bird at Chek Jawa Boardwalk Nature Park in Pulau Ubin

What to do during the weekends? How about getting close to nature. If you love nature, check out the Parks Festival 2011 at http://www.nparks.gov.sg/parksfest. No, this is not self-promotion. I don’t work there :p

According to the website, there are 300 parks in Singapore. Amazing for such a tiny island.

These are very short snippets. Check out the website for full details. They are looking for volunteers. If you are keen, why not lend a hand, or two :0

Meanwhile, I really wish there is more information on the National Parks website about Punggol Promenade. Whatever you do over the weekends, have fun!
