Sunset at Pasir Ris Farmway 3

Sunset Panorama at Pasir Ris Farmway 3

The lalang grass are growing in big patches across the empty field at Pasir Ris Farmway 3.

As I passed this road on my way to Pasir Ris Park in the morning, I had this idea that the lalangs would be aglow during sunset. True enough on my way home yesterday evening, they were ablazed in the sun’s golden glow.

I just wanted to see how the photos turn up with no editing done. Taken with an Olympus PL6 with the 14-40mm kit lens.

If you pass this area, remember to snap a few photos before the lalang grass are all gone.

This is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing! Is this place easy to access via public transport?

Thanks for your comments, Charles. The place is rather isolated, there is no bus here. From Pasir Ris Drive 3 or 12, can follow the canal next to Systems on Silicon on Manufactoring Co. heading to Pasir Ris Farmway 3 and Lorong Halus Wetland. Best way is to get a bicycle. Alas the lalangs had been cut, the very next day after I posted this. Oh well…..

Thank you so much for letting me know! Really appreciate it! Would be a wasted trip if I go as I am looking forward to the lalang field…. Anyway, beauty is a fleeting thing, and I am glad you get to enjoy and take those pictures just a day before the lalangs are gone 🙂

There are other lalang fields nearby at Punggol Promenade. They get cut down then they grow again.
