Light Streaks

17 Nov

What is there in the city at night? Bright colorful lights!

From time to time, I like to practice panning handheld. Left to right, right to left. Depending on the traffic movement and whether I am panning to the left or right, a variety of results came about.

In this picture below , it is easy to tell after the fact that the panning is done right to left. That car in the foreground was turning to the left. I reckon more practice is needed and experiments in various shutter speed. For this picture settings : F22, 1sec at ISO 1000. This was taken at the traffic junction between Orchard Road and Scotts Road, on location at ION Orchard. There are railings for support.

So I will come by again when the christmas lights up are functioning and compare the shots. Have a great weekend! Happy christmas shopping! 😉
