Sun Halo

Why did I not notice this before? Dig up more pictures and here is another picture of a sun halo.

What exactly is a halo? According to Wikipedia, a solar halo is an optical phenomenon produced when ice crystal creates colored or white arcs and spots in the sky. It is also known as nimbus, icebow or gloriole.

This is not the best picture, I know. I just like the effect that creates that blue looking ray. For a bit of weather related explanation and pictures, check out the website below.
