Carrot Heads at Sentosa Flowers 2011

Giant Carrots at Sentosa Flowers 2011

There are plenty of things to see at the Sentosa Flowers 2011 – not just the flowers.

These rows of giant carrots flanked the walkway at Beach Station, at the start or end (depending on your starting point) of the Sentosa Flowers 2011. Those greenery you see at the foot of the giant carrot are real life cabbages. Yes, you can eat them, if you want to and don’t mind the staring. I wonder how they keep the insects and wildlife out? Insecticide?

As for the Sentosa Flowers 2011 exhibition, start walking from Resort World Sentosa towards the Merlion Walk and a side trip to Mount Imbiah. Another way is to take the monorail – Sentosa Express – or by bus.

Once you are on the island, transportation within – monorail, bus, beach tram – are all free. Except if you take the bus back to Vivocity from Resort World Sentosa bus station – the bus fare is still applicable.

I am heading to Sentosa again in a week’s time for a longer stay. Hope to get better quality night pictures this time round.

Stay tuned!
