Rain drops on my window

Well it rained all day on Sunday. So nice to sleep late and snuggle. When it comes to Monday, ack, what a chore to wake up. A chance to wear thick clothing, even wore my winter jacket to work.

About 10am today, peek through the window and wow. Rain clouds practically covered the roof of the surrounding buildings. Such low hanging clouds. Snap a picture from my camera phone. It couldn’t focus on the background but instead on the rain drops.

Have you ever play and dance in the rain? I want to, really.

Colorful Buildings and Rainy Sky

On most days, the great torchlight in the sky is taking an extended vacation. Not surprising that most of the pictures taken came out dark. But I do love the contrast of the stormy sky and the colorful buildings below.

Today, we have a bit of blue sky and I manage to snap some pictures. Will post that later.

This picture was taken two weeks ago. Believe it or not, it was raining hard on the right side of the building where this picture was taken from. On the extreme right side is the National Library Singapore. View of the surrounding area and the snarling traffic on that Sunday afternoon.

Rainy Season in Singapore

Traditionally, December and January are two of the wettest season in Singapore. Always bring an umbrella at all times. It tends to rain in the late afternoon. But hey, I love the rainy season!  Good excuse to wear the “winter” clothing.

Even when the sky is dark, the amount of light that filter through change from seconds to seconds. As examples, these photos were taken last Sunday. One thing worth noting, glass building tend to reflect light and can give interesting results in photographs.  If travelling on the road, traffic is a bitch though.

We are mid-week, hold on tight. The weekend is coming!
