Hi! Thanks for dropping by. My name is Haslinda or hasayang in this blog. Pictures and travel are two of my favourite things.  This blog is for sharing of travel tips of the places travelled. As for photography, most have been learnt through trial and error.  Everyday I am learning new things.

I have been visiting and cycling at the Lorong Halus Wetland, Sengkang Riverside Park, the Sengkang and Punggol Park Connector Network and Punggol Beach regularly. There are many articles and pictures on these places posted here.

This is a photo heavy site. Hope you enjoy looking at the photos. :)

  4. Anymore latest pics of Punggol promenade newly completely areas would be appreciated. We we cant explore at this moment because of new baby. I think the contractors are taking a long time to finish the walking path from Punggol Jetty to Halus Bridge. It should be finished by now I hope. Last month I walk around that place its still not ready.

    • Hi Jean. Will post those pictures :) From what I see, that section at the Punggol Jetty and Beach are ready but the ones at the Lorong Halus end are still under construction. Last I heard, it will be ready by September. Here’s to hoping ;0

  7. Hi Haslinda! I chanced upon your blog while googling for a way to get to Punggol Waterway and Punggol Promenade. I did not realise that it was indeed very near where I am residing (i.e. Punggol Road and it’s just 2 stops away from Punggol Bus Interchange).

    I simply love the pictures that you took at the Waterway and Promenade. Lovely,lovely! Very very good photography too! Hope to see more of your beautiful pictures that you took of the Waterway and Promenade and Punggol Beach at your blog! =)

    • Hi Shaa! You make my day :) Thanks for your lovely comments. Punggol 21 is slowly shaping up to its promise. Get out there and take the time to enjoy the lovely parks in your premises. If you have time, drop by to Punggol Beach tomorrow. Not sure what is happening but they are building tents there. Some event going on. See if you can catch it, if not, simply enjoy the lovely views.

    • Hi Linkway88. Thanks for visiting and your lovely comments. :)

      I am guessing you are referring to the Jewel Bridge. This is the waterway facing Punggol Reservoir.

      From Punggol MRT, walk along Punggol Central to reach the central park of Punggol Waterway. You can also alight at Sam Kee LRT and walk down to reach the central area. Keep a look out for the arch bridge at Punggol Walk. Walk under the bridge, further down to reach the Jewel Bridge. It is a good place to take sunset photos here.

        Thanks for your direction to ‘The Jewel’.
        BTW,I was there at Punggol MRT on two separate occassions.
        1st to visit Punggol point and
        2nd to see Arch Bridge.I walked down the grass-land and lost direction to the Jewel.So could you kindly
        spare a little efforts to guide me from here onwards please…..

  9. Sorry to hear that, Linkway 88. By the grass-land, is that the open field next to the MRT? In that case, do you see this arch bridge in this picture?

    Arch Bridge

    If yes, you are in the correct place. If taking LRT, stop at Sam Kee Station. You can see the suspension bridge once you cross the street to reach Punggol Waterway. Keep left to see the waterfalls at Heartwave Wall. The arch bridge is in the opposite direction.

    Walk towards the arch bridge. This map is from the HDB Infoweb :

    Punggol Waterway Fiesta

    Do you see the purple color icon “Ceremony Site”? On the bottom left frame of the map. Follow the water canals on the left till the end. That is the direction of the Jewel Bridge. Let me know if you find it or if you need more directions.

      • Afraid not, linkway88. In fact, there is no signboard of the different bridges name on the actual sites. The Punggol Waterway Fiesta map only shows the central portion of the waterway. The Jewel Bridge is on the left while on the right is the direction to Punggol Promenade opposite Lorong Halus Wetland (not seen in the map). Click and drag on the street directory map to see more things on the left or right. The different names of the bridges can be found at the

    I was looking for directions to the punggol waterway and I happened to log to your website. Thanks for the directions. The photos you took in punggol were fanastic.Great photography! I just bought a DSLR camera and hope to learn some tips from you. Will visit your other blogs soon.

I chanced across your blog more than once, during my research to find nice nature spots in Singapore to explore during my family outings on Sunday morning :) Nice photos, good commentary and useful information provided here…great job!     • For Thura and everyone wondering, there is no kayaking service at Punggol Waterway yet. Those kayaks are only seen during special events like family day, official opening, etc. I heard rumors of a SAFRA clubhouse operating here. Not confirmed. Will post those news as soon I hear them. I am just as interested. :)
