One of the most fascinating thing to do at any shoreline is to watch birds. Watch them fly, glide on air currents, searching and diving for food or simply wishing to be free as a bird. I wish I know the names of the birds because some species are becoming familiar sights.
An earlier attempt to photograph these white birds did not turn up so well. I would watch the birds hovering over the water then suddenly diving into the water with their catch. Exhilarating to watch the action live. Managed to get a photo of one bird dashing into the water. Not quite a close-up but it showed a bit of the action.
