After sunset
This was posted a while back. Anyone keen to take sunset photos?
The sun sets on the west. From 6.30pm, the camera setting can be set to the sunset mode and if the clouds don’t obscure the horizon too much. pictures can still turn up nice. Sunset nowadays is around 7.12pm. Dont’t leave the scene just yet after this time. Wait till 7.30pm. The changing light is magical. Never the same every single day.
Don’t just focus on the east. Point in the opposite direction too. At times, the light and sun reflection actually light up the opposite direction and the clouds are lighted up. The above picture was taken in such a scenario. I love photographing clouds and have quite a collection of them.
