And so the song goes……
Last glimpse of the Christmas Tree – taken at a building facing the Singapore River. The last of the christmas light-up was yesterday, which made sense since it was a weekend instead of today on a weekday.
It is Monday, back to work for us working folks. Though the kids enjoy an extra holiday today in lieu of Saturday being a Public Holiday.
Start of a new century and new procedures at work. Welcome to the reality of life.
Getting back on photography, I gotta have a new camera ASAP! Everything are turning up blurry. Tried to get pictures of the landscape around the Singapore River and Marina Bay today. None turn up good enough for posting. Though it was not a total lost.
Interestingly, even around 7.30pm with cloudy sky, those skyscrapper buildings provide interesting foreground to the moody landscape. Have to try that technique once again.
Oh…an interesting observation. If everybody else seem to be shooting horizontally and you stand alone shooting upwards, people tend to stop for a moment and look upwards too. Wondering what is up there?
One way to avoid large crowd is to go out shooting photos on a Monday. The walkways are almost deserted and it is easier to concentrate without worry of jostling.
Till next time, smile brightly!
